My brother has testicular cancer

He got his operation three days ago but the doctor told him that he still has to stay in the hospital for a few more days.
I do not know what is next and I will find out more soon.

There is a lot of knowledge on this site so if you can share your brothers reports with us we will certainly be able to give you some guidance.

Sorry to hear about your brother.
TC can spread pretty quick, but it dosen't have to i every case.

The single most important thing here is that your brother is already undergoing treatment.
It is likely that he recieves what is known as BEP (Bleomycin, Etoposide and cisPlatin) chemotherapy. It is very effective and metastases in the abdomen (and lungs) are very treatable with this approach.
That it's not in his lungs is a good thing though.

If you can get hold of the pathological findings and the values for tumormarkers in his blood, we can provide you with better info about his condition.

Remember that TC is curable and stay in touch!

My brother found a lump on one of his testicules I think it was already three years ago and the doctor told him it was just an injury.
Now my brother is in the hospital diagnosed with testicular cancer and all I know is that it hasnt spread to his lungs.
I am becoming really worried because I read that it spreads really fast.
How fast can it spread?
