I would call your doctor again, tell him you think the lump is getting bigger, and ask for more explanation about what the ultrasound showed.Scott
right inguinal orchiectomy 6/5/2003 > nonseminoma, stage I > surveillance > L-RPLND 6/24/2005 for recurrence, suspected teratoma but found seminoma, stage II > chylous ascites until 9/2005 > surveillance and "all clear" since

Take scott's counsel...
I do not know your doc...he may be correct...but there was a thread here some time back - a guy from europe...and for 6 months they told him it was something else, to be treated with antibiotics....it was tc cancer and it had spread...
I would always, always seeks a 2nd opinion, unless I was confident I was already seeing one of the tc cancer experts as noted thru links on this board.
for me...when my urologist, einhorn and benedetto all said the same thing...I had so much confidence I was doing the right thing...any doubt, go to an expert...it is amazing that once you pass uncertainty, anything gets easier.- lump first noticed 11/20/2005
