Hi all --
I'm glad to have found this place because it's great to hear other people's stories. Your experiences are a big help.
Tomorrow I start the second cycle of 3xBEP. While I'm not thrilled, my tumor markers have already normalized so I'm optimistic. However, here's my question:
During the orchiectomy I had a prosthetic installed. The 'stitch' that keeps it in in its place has recently started to act up. Basically it feels as if it's pulling the skin and it's very uncomfortable. For good measure I had my oncologist take a look and he said it was probably nothing and to talk to my urologist. After calling him he said that there wasn't anything he could do during the chemo, and that he wasn't really sure why this would be painful anyway. So, has anyone experienced something similar? I'm pretty sure it's nothing serious but I would really like to occupy my mind with something else than this sore nut sack (pardon my French).
Any help appreciated.
