I was wondering how couples deal with intimacy after a Bilateral Orchiectomy. I had mine a month ago, but was wondering what I could do to make sure my wife gets the attention she needs. I have talked to her about this non stop and she assures me that everything will be fine, but still in the back of my mind I always wonder. Can anyone tell me about what you have done to assure there is intimacy still aflame.

Welcome to the forums, Hurdle.
First off, you are receiving testosterone replacement therapy, right? You should be.
Have you found the TC2 section of the Testicular Cancer Resource Center?Scott
right inguinal orchiectomy 6/5/2003 > nonseminoma, stage I > surveillance > L-RPLND 6/24/2005 for recurrence, suspected teratoma but found seminoma, stage II > chylous ascites until 9/2005 > surveillance and "all clear" since

Thanks for the responses..
Yes, I'm on HRT. I need to go back in to check my T level. Doctor says my count will be a little less than it was prior to the procedure. My wife doesn't like this, since my drive was way more than she could handle anyway. (jokingly) she said she is glad about the break she has had. I just have my doubts and worry that she is trying to just make me worry less. When I worry about her being worried about me, it is a little tricky. I was wondering about other people as well, if there are those road bumps along the way and what you have done to compensate.
