Some say that there are no coincidences. But I just happened on to this page. I was looking up something about endroconologist. And bam I'm here reading a letter from a gentleman named Bob. Who's story sounded just like mine. I had to dig out my hospital papers because I didn't remember when I had surgery. I had both T's removed in 94. Wow, that sounds so long ago!
At that time they did a test called a lymphangeogram (I'm sure thats spelled wrong). I was wondering if they still do that test? What a NIGHTMARE!
I was also wondering how many people have had a lot of other medical problems, and if they think that maybe, just maybe, it relates to the cancer?
I go for a biopsy this Friday, because I had thyroid problems and they found a mass, that they thought would go away. It didn't.
But theres been other things. I won't go through a long list and bore everyone. But before the cancer, I was very healthy. I wasn't sickly as a child. But since, it seems like its one thing or another.
Well, I am glad I found this site. And thanks for any feed back. Its appreciated.
    Brian

PS: pls forgive the poor spelling.

They don't do that test anymore. My husband had the test in 1980 but thankfully modern medicine has improved some. The test was used to determine if there was cancer in the lymph nodes. Now that have pretty accurate CT scans, MRIs and PET scans. As far as other health problems, my husband is never sick and has no health problems with the exception cancer. He is dealing with bladder cancer now but it is under control. Even with chemo, your immune system bounces back. Good luck with your biopsy. Dianne
