Thank you Thank you Thank you

I should have posted this earlier -- it's been a few months since I posted here at all.... but we found out about a month ago that my boyfriend is now cancer free. After 6 months of surgery, post-surgical infections, and chemo therapy - my boyfriend is totally back to his old self. It seems like he was bald and weak and in pain AGES ago... but it's only been 2-3 months since his hair came back.

This support forum helped me through so many times of crisis. I had never dealt with cancer so upclose and personal as I did with my boyfriend, as his primary care taker, and I never imagined it would be as hard as it was... and strangely, after a while - it also became routine.... but MY GOD is it better to be back to health.

We're working out together 3-4 days a week. He's running, lifting weights that are 3-4 times heavier than the ones I lift (just after chemo we were lifting the same -- and my strength has increased too -- so he's a total muscle man). He's hairy as can be, and life is so so good.

There is light at the end of the tunnel...and thank you for all your help.
Working...
