  • anyone experience azoospermia pre-diagnosis

I am just wondering if there is anyone out there with similar circumstances to my husband and I. We found his testicular tumor after seeing a urologist because of lack of sperm in an analysis. We are pretty sure the azoospermia was due to the cancer becaused he fathered a child from a previous marraige 7 years ago.
Is there anyone out there who also had no sperm before diagnosis, and if so have your swimmers returned or are you still sterile? There is not much info out there about this that I can find. If anyone has any suggestions as the where I can find some info regarding the subject let me know.
    Thanks.

Welcome! So was he diagnosed with TC and if so what type? Many men are diagnosed when they present with infertility. If he has TC as determined by an I/O and surgery the sprematogenesis recovery may depend on his treatment path.

If you want loads of info and can make your way throguh scientific literature go the url below and query azoospermia testicular cancer. Set the limite to human, male, english and start with the reviews.

PubMed® comprises more than 36 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.

The more info you post on your husbands' disgnosis the more we can help. Chemo and radiation have an effect on fertility and sperm quality.
