Oral Chemo after High Dose

My husband is officially on survellience with his markers one month after RPLND being HCG .6 and AFP 3.3. We had thought he would be on oral chemo (etoposide) for 3 cycles but the doctor thought since Jon's cancer was chemorefractory originally (he had 3 rounds EP) that the low dosage isn't going to do anything - bascially if the cancer is going to come back, it will. Also, his body has been through a lot in 6 months and the doc wants his body to recover. I know from talking with others on the site, they are doing the 3 rounds of oral chemo after high dose.

Does anyone have any thoughts on whether or not we should push for the oral chemo? We are under Dr. Einhorn's care so who do we go to for a 2nd opinion when you've gone to the best?

If Dr. Einhorn said not to do the VP-16 (oral chemo), then i would just take his word for it. He knows what he is doing.
