  • adenocarcinoma and Dr. Einhorn

    Hi,
My boyfriend saw Dr. Einhorn for the first time today after being misdiagnosed in California. Dr. Eihorn, tells us that he has adenocarcinoma. He said this was very, very rare. That he only sees it every five years approximately. Does anyone know of anyone who´s had this form of testicular cancer? And what the statistics are regarding curability? Anything would help.

    Tammy,
I would urge you to make a list of all the questions you may have regarding your fiance's illness and take them with you to his next appointment with Dr. Einhorn who will give you direct, honest answers based upon his and IU's expertise and vast experiences in these matters. There is sooooooo much out there on the internet pertaining to various cancer that is inaccurate, outdated, and of little practical value that will serve only to add to your angst. I know that I almost burned out reading and rereading all of the opinions and articles (expert and otherwise) on my particular variety and stage of testicular cancer, many of which served only to fan my anxiety. Your fiancee is in the very best care on planet earth, bar none.
    God bless,
    Brian
