I missed this back when you first posted it, but I'm glad I saw it tonight. The results aren't a surprise, but they are a relief!

Thanks! Same here. I'm planning on celebrating this voluntary physical injury by damaging some brain cells.

Got my results back and it was all fine and dandy.

Looks like it was a benign tumor made of nerve and skin cells -- it could have started when I was very young with a puncture wound if I ever had one -- I am not sure if I , but there was no scar to indicate anything major. Well, there is a scar now, but it was definitely a relief getting it removed and biopsied.

The doctor said it was right on top of a nerve so it probably was for the best that I had it removed before it caused pressure on the nerve or other damage. The nerve in that area controls sensation on parts of the thumb and forefinger -- two of my favorite fingers that I use quite a bit. ;-)

As with the orchiectomy scar, the incision is numb to the touch, so there was actually zero pain at all, but sensation in my hand is fine. Thanks for the advice!

What, no photo??? Let us know the path. I'm still betting the farm on benign (of course that's easy to do when you don't actually own a fram )

I am no longer the owner of a lump on my wrist.

Had it removed today. Dr. could not be sure what it is, as he doesn't know what a metastasis would look like, but he's thinking it might be an epidermal inclusion cyst or perhaps a growth made out of nerve cells.

I had the honor (displeasure?) of seeing it and it looked like it was round like a ball and pink or white. it was a bit larger than a pea. uke:

I will let you know what pathology says. Thanks!

My surgery is scheduled for Wed at noon. it's in a surgery center and it's just under local.

I'll let you know what I find out. He said a metastasis from seminoma would be the weirdest thing ever. He's 99.999% sure it's not related. Would more likely be another cancer, and even in that case he says that would be very rare. Much more likely is some kind of benign tumor.

I'm gonna schedule a follow up with my oncologist no matter what, since it's almost time anyway.

    LNT,
Wow, I'd would have bet big bucks that it was a cyst. I'm glad he thinks it's benign and you're getting it out. Good luck with the surgery and let us know how you're doing and what the pathology is.

Just got back from the hand surgeon. He doesn't believe it is a cyst, but is pretty sure it's some kind of benign tumor. He said that most mets to the arm would hit the hand -- primarily the index finger first -- based on blood flow.

So gonna go for minor surgery, hopefully this week, and have it removed.

I'm sure you're going to be fine. After haveing cancer the anxiety is understandable.

Finally, my appointment with the surgeon tomorrow -- that's if it doesn't snow and they close.

I have exhausted my search on google. Looks like this is probably some benign lump. I see no situations where something like this happened and the abdomen and lungs were clean. Also, I had a pet scan about 5 months ago.

Hopefully my next post will be a positive one!

I made an appointment with a surgeon! The irony is that the appointment is 2 weeks away so by the time I'm ready to have it removed, my checkup will be right around the corner.

Thanks all! My general doc asked if it bothered me and I said "it only bothers me that it's there" -- otherwise it's not hurtning or anything and appears to have not grown. i'll probably end up with a bigger scar than the bump would have been. But at least I'll know its a scar.

I discovered a small lump on my lower back [10 cm right from spine] The lump is right under the skin. CAT clear. No connection between lump and TC. Maybe is a lipom or something like that.
    Stay calm pls !!!

I agree with Karen. I would be shocked if it were related to tc but it's had you worried for over a month.
