    Sickness

His next check up is in Feb, he has phoned his oncologist today and left a message, so just wating for a reply.

I think that the chemo has had a greater effect on his immune system than we first thought. I am hoping it's just a bug that's lingering around because his immune system is weak. He is generally vomitting once a week.

I think his main concern it that they have missed some of the original cancer in is abdomen, but he had no vascular invasion and had a CT scan of his chest, abdo and pelvis which was clear.

Seminoma is not a fast growing cancer so it's hard to see that his cerrent ilness would be associated. You should be comming up on a follow-up visit, just mention your concerns at that time. You do have a tight follow-up schedule, right?

    Sickness

Has anyone suffered from bouts of sickness since their treatment? My other half had a single dose of carboplatin in Oct, at the start of Dec he was sick for a few days and we though it was a bug, since then he has been sick on and off. Is this common?
He had a seminoma with no spread and had a abdo CT when first diagnosed. He has just had a chest x-ray and blood tests which were all fine. He is concerned that this may some cancer that was missed? Is this a common spread pattern for seminoma?

    Cheers guys
