Actually, unless you're drinking more than you reported, this doesn't sound excessive. This CNN Health article says men should drink 3L a day.

Suppliments and TRT aside I am more thirsty then usual.
With a multi and trt I am drinking 3 litres a day, when I was sick the other week I drank 5 litres in 1 day, went to the toilet about 6 times in 1 night.
I get really thirsty all of a sudden out of nowhere and will skull half a liter of water in seconds, I know its healthy but I never used to be like this.

A lot of supplements made from herbal mixtures etc are diuretics - so you will produce more urine and be thirsty more

That said, if what you're drinking is water, its good to keep hydrated so i wouldnt be worried about 2 litres a day

Well it started well before my TRT, wich has btw now been discontinued for the stupidest of reasons but I will be self medicating until I can find a doctor who cares.

Multi vitamins can make me more thirsty but the Andriol hasnt.

Excessive thirst can be related to hormonal imbalance. Are you sure this isn't related to your hormone replacement therapy?

    started a topic thirst

    thirst

Any got excessive thirst before being diagnosed with organ metastasis?

Its not really worrying me that much but thought I would bring it up, ever since about a year ago I drink 2 litres of water a day not because its healthy but because I get so thirsty. Before then I only used to drink about half - 1 litre a day, now that I am taking suppliments I am drinking 3 litres a day.
My liver function is normal, renal function is slightly on the acidic side but still normal.
I always have a bottle of water with me everywhere I go, I will drink a litre in the morning, a litre throughout the day and another litre at night, I dont get up during the night to goto the toilet so thats not a problem, it just excessive thirst, my blood sugar is normal also.
Working...
