  • bald spot on leg

Hello Everyone. Quick question for post chemo folks out there. I finished my last cycle 9/2005 and fortunately, have faired quite well with neuropathy going way, limited ringing in the ears, good follow up results etc. Recently, I just noticed a fairly large "bald spot" on my left leg - smooth as a baby's behind - which spans from left ankle to mid shin. It is probably not a big deal and there have been far more important topics to discuss, but I couldn't help ask if this is common, etc. Comments welcome.... All the best!
    Jim

My doc said it takes some time - up to 8 months or so, for your body to normalize hormone levels....

I finished chemo april 17, 2006 and I'd say just about now my body hair is what it used to be...

I had my last session at the end of July and my hair is after growing back like a wire brush and gets curly when it grows longer than an inch. Its never done that before and is really pissing me off. I know its trivial but it is annoying. My facial hair has grown back in all sorts of different patterns as well. I currently am waiting on my sideburns to fully grow back even though they were actually the first things appear. Maybe they are taling another break. I just hope its not like this forever as I wouldn't mind growing my hair out again. Shaved heads is fine for a while but...
