    Hi this is Kevin's mam
I am lost and feel like I have Hit a brick wall since Kevin lost his fight. I have been around this site a number of times tonight but not sure where to post.
I have a big void in my life and I don't know how I will cope with it, I feel like screaming and shouting, how could God take someone so young.
People say we will get through it but it's easier said than done.

Irene, my heart is breaking for you. You have lost your child and there is no greater pain for a mother

There are no words that will take your pain or fill the void you now live with.

I know that you know it will take time to heal and move forward.

Please stay in the company of family and good friends as much as possible, and spill your heart and soul to them.

Cry, scream, let God know you are hurt and angry. You have every right to feel and say whatever you need to, and as you already know ... your friends on this forum are always here for you.

If you ever want to talk, please do not hesitate to let me know. I can't do a lot but I can listen, and you can scream, curse, cry or whatever you need to.

    I am so sorry, Irene

      Irene:
This isn't much but check out this link. It will take you to the Lance Armstrong Foundation cancer support page. Seek out local counseling and don't avoid getting mad as hell. What happened to your son just isn't right and what it will do to you is just as bad. When my son was sick we were told it's part of God's plan, well you know what, I told him he could take that plan and shove it. Only time will help heal this wound but the scar, even on good days, will remain.
