Hi all,
Just a quick question (going to phone my doc tomorrow also to set my mind at ease) -
Diagnosed with Stage 1 high risk teratoma in Aug 05, no spread, markers normal after surgery, had 2 cycles of BEP and everything been fine since then (touchwood).
Just had a 3-monthly check-up 2 days ago, all ok, although obviously my blood and x-rays will not have been checked yet but fingers crossed!
My question - Just back from playing football this afternoon, during which I took a hit to the testicle area with the ball, from close range, quite painful at the time but no more painful than it normally would be! No pain now, had a quick self-examination and all seems normal.
Is this something I should be concerned about? All the docs I asked told me there was no problem in returning to playing football - although maybe I could have protected that area more!
Any comments appreciated.
