            losing hold

Russell's first post-op CT will be on Wed when he returns. There are moments when I am losing hold now. Will keep trusting. I know how to get back. Russell's Mom, Sharon

My thoughts and prayers and with you , Russell and his Grandmother. I'm sure you're a mess waiting for the CT, but you have shown yourself to be one very strong woman, and you will be strong for this as well.

Sharon, sending you and your son prayers and best wishes. I am very sorry to hear about his grandmother. I hope all the scans go well. I think of your son and often go back and look at the wonderful picture you posted of him smiling with that child. He seems very special.

                    Hang on...we are with you

                      Sharon,
I completely understand what Russell is going through. Many years ago, I lost my Abuelita to breast cancer. It was very rough on all of our family being that she was the strongest lady we have ever known. I am sure Russell's Grandmother is really proud of all the accomplishments and successes he has garnered over the last few years. We're all here for both of you.

                              last night

So I am at work and will need to be careful with my emotions. Russell spent the night with his Grandmother and an uncle. There were concerns to be taken care of during the night. He stepped forward. - Today we are working long distance to set up his CTs and his Prednisone will be adjusted after phone conversation with the Pulmonologist. These words seem so trivial compared to the feeling.....there is nothing more that a mother could want from a son. These are very difficult days, he is living as strong as one can get, he is very alive!! Deepest gratitude for your support. Take care, Russell's Mom, Sharon
