Kendall, great news! And don't worry if you have retrograde. My husband said it was the same as before and it does have its benefits after the childbearing years! Dianne

i forgot that there was one more little detail. we talked with dr. foster about the nerve sparing technecs (sp) and he would do the best he could. after surgery we were catting with dr. and asked about the the nerves. he said he did what he could but the tumor at one time had pulled nerves from the right over to the left. time will tell as what damage was done. so all in all if that is the only fly in the ointment....thats not too bad.

    hello all

it is great to be on the up side of dirt . could not resist. all went well with surgery in indy. on 7-12. dr foster is a great surgeon to have as well as dr einhorn to have in your corner. pathology reports were in sat. morn 7-14 and there was no malignacy found just scar tissue. both docters are very happy with out come. as luck would have it the ct disc i took out there to indy. they could not open the disc and they just couldnt beleive the report that was enclosed from the radiologist here in town which reported all 3 scans were clear and normal. dr foster sent me to dr. einhorn and we talked about the possibilties of no surgery. as i told him beings how the surgery is already scheduled for in the morn we might as well go for it and he said that is a very could choice with a pat on the back :-).
had surgery the 12 of july and met all criteria....walk, pass gas and sit in chair. and that was by sat. sunday dr. foster came in and chatted abit and gave us the choice to stay or go home. i wanted to go home. i was discharged sunday after lunch. of which i had none.
went to walgreens for painkillers and we were on our way home . 5 hr trip
the surgery after effects werent too bad. followed dr. orders for a few days and really no problems.
took advice from the forums here till day 6six....just jello and water.

thank-you for the advice, thoughts and prayers....to all that have to go through with this....its not that bad but do not stop until you find that docter that knows what to do and how to do it.oh and margaret you stay on that soap box.... there is nothing wrong with that.....me i would have given him both barrels ;-).

    thanks
