Sorry for the delayed response, but let's just say that the babies took over every aspect of our lives. :-) In reality, they are not "our lives" anymore, but ours to to be given fully to the girls.
That is outstanding!!! I had been wondering for quite some time what ever happened to you, and I am really happy for your now larger family! It goes without saying that post-cancer kids carry a great deal of significance especially in cases like ours. Many congratulations, and I hope you do come along to the FFF at the Moses. We're bringing my 4-year and 3.5-month-old girls along!

Are spouses going? Neither one of us dares leave the others alone with the girls for too long.
And yes, they definitely take on an increased significance. For years, I wondered what I was put on this planet to do. I won't judge my success in life only by what I achieve, but in how we raise our daughters. Congrats on the baby, btw! I wonder which is harder, raising them at the same age or staggered!

It's certainly different. With Emi and Dalia being almost 4 years apart, the difference is in their needs. I remember that soon after Dalia was born (she arrived at 5:08 a.m.), I had to jet home to get Emi ready and take her to daycare. I do feel fortunate that I don't have to change diapers for two kids at a time!

I've been following this thread lately, just posting now. Thank you very much for sharing your story. My partner and I will be going through this journey in a few years when we are ready to start our family too. It's always a good thread to read like this one, I'm very happy for you to have found success with In-Vitro, it gives me hope that one day I will as well. Enjoy your family!

I just read this thread from beginning to end and want to extend my congratulations. That's so awesome that you have two little ones now. I am by no means ready to have children yet, but look to your experiences to know that I can be a TC survivor and still have a healthy family.
