I'm a newbie and wasn't sure where to post so I'm putting here cause I'm a 2 year survivor who had a non-seminoma stage II so that meant an orchiectomy and a lymph node disection and some chemo.
Now it's 2 years with good CT scans and no tumor markers but there's a lump where my left testicle used to be and it's painful. It wasn't there a week ago and it's significant now. It's about 1/2 the size of what my original teste was.
I called my oncologist and they told me to see my urologist but the first opening to see him is 1/23. I'm starting to go crazy wondering what this is and it's sensitive so every time my child is near me I'm afraid she'll accidentally hit me there.
Anyone have any idea of what this is? I figure it must not be a new or re-occurance of cancer as the scans and tumor markers show I'm good. Any insight would be helpful. Thank you!
