  • Chris' Cat

Need opinions, does it seem unusually long to wait for cat scan results from last thursday, its been about a week, and they were sent from our hospital out to sloan the next day...or is no news good news...I did leave a message for Dr. S. nurse to be on the look out for them...any thoughts...nervous as usual....thanks...Mary Ellen

It's really not unusual. The only time they expedite the thing is when there is concern. Jeff had his quarterly oncologist appointment yesterday (of course he should have had it in November but had to cancel because of business and finally rescheduled because I had a tantrum!). He is still having CT scans and blood work every quarter. You are lucky you still have some kind of control over Chris. I am sure if they suspected a problem you would have your results by now. Thanks Dianne...yes, Chris still goes to appts. when he should....but he leaves for college next week and I would like to tell him all is well with cat....but he does drag his feet at school for his monthly blood work...so no matter what age...they do what they want...good to hear from you..M

        Mary Ellen:
Waiting, waiting, waiting. Can that actually become a hobby? I'm sure the scan will be fine or they would have contacted you by now. I need a new hobby to.

          Hi Mary Ellen,
I think no news is good news but the waiting is so hard. I'm sure everything is fine.
Josh turned 21 in Nov. Hopefully, he will keep appointments without me constantly on him. I hate to be a nag but he likes to put things off. Kids kill ya. Let us know. Thinking of you.
