  • Testogel -how long to see differences

I've now been using testogel for close to 2 weeks and haven't really noticed a dramatic difference in terms of hot flushes/night sweats/libido etc.
How long did it take for other users to notice any difference?

I started taking Andriol yesterday and have noticed a difrence within hours.

You should be getting a follow up blood test within 2 weeks, if you arnt feeling a dramatic diffrence then I am guessing it is just converting to Estrogen.

Get your Estradiol level checked in the morning, it should be between 10-30 pg/ml if it is above 40 or 50 OR your total T is below 650 then thats your answer.

Gels are notorious for converting to Estradiol this is why I have started on Andriol wich is the least popular and has a bad reputation, I just know how to take it although I plan on switching to Gels only if my Estradiol is in check.

What I suggest you and anyone else on TRT for that matter do is, Get a multivitamin, nothing too potent or fancy, aslong as it contains atleast 1mg of copper and the basic vitamins in not too large amounts.
Get some 25mg zinc tablets with no other ingrediants. And get some Indoplex/DIM tablets online, you can google that for an online store.

Take the multivitamin and 1 Zinc in the morning with food. Take the 2nd Zinc tablet at lunch or dinner, and take the DIM tablet at dinner, you should notice a huge diffrence in your wellbeing and libido.

I am not familiar with Testogel. Is it like Androgel?

For me, I found that when my total T and E2 were low, that is when the hot flashes happened.

Well, it's been a little while now and things are more positive, endurance, energy, weight loss is pretty good.
Libido is still a lot lower than it used to be and really needs sorting, for my girlfriends sake if not my own.
Any ideas what I should expect to hear from my consultant next week in order to rectify the situation?

            Indoplex/DIM will help your libido.

I just had my 1st shot this morning after just starting to crash from Andriol. 50mg enanthate, about 15mins ago and i feel great, I have that same feel good feeling I get after a workout, andriol is really crap.

Your doctor will want to run a blood test and will go from there, ask for Estradiol I am guessing its high.

Well, I have been in several chemists and health shops but nobody in London has heard of DIM/Indoplex.
Is this a US only product?
Does anyone know where to get it in the UK?
              Cheers,

I had a follow up consultation yesterday,
My testosterone level was up from 6 to 12.7 (don't know units but range should be high teens/low twenties for my age).
He then tells me that he starts with a low dose to begin with to see where things settle, so i'm now to take twice as much testogel in the mornings.
HGH is on the low side of normal as is thyroid but he doesn't want to treat those until he sees where they are once the testosterone level is right.
I have one other question for you knowledgeable people out there . . . what is the effect on fertility in losing one testes and having TRT?
                  Cheers,

                  Paul

Your doctor is right about what you mentioned.

Anyone on TRT will most likely become temporarily infertile if not subfertile due to FSH and LH supression, depending on level of physical activity, application, estradiol and the individual.
When its time, you usually run HCG and HMG for afew months for fertility wich renders the effects of LH and FSH supression nonexistant, infact I believe from my own logic that HMG and HCG along with T should boost sperm count to maximum output.

Hi Michael, what does all that mean in laymen's terms?

Think of TRT as male birth control, and when you want to have a kid, a urologist or andrologist can give you some medications to run alongside TRT to bring back ur fertility temporarily.
