  • Sleep Problems

I've been on depotestosterone for over 2 years now. I tried the gel for while, but I like the convenience of 1 shot every 2 weeks.

I occassionally have problems sleeping, this has happened for longer the the HRT, but it seems to be getting worse.

I believe I heard that this can be connected with HRT, particularly those methods (such as injection) that don't allow for natural daily hormone fluctuation.

So my question is; can anyne confirm this? If so, is their any way to get around the issue?

As a folllow up; what are some other options for HRT? I'm thinking of switching back to the gel, but I wonder about the drawbacks of that method.

    Any input is appreciated.

What sort of sleep problems? before switching back to the gel, try halving your dosage and increasing its frequency to once a week.

Melatonin might be a good option, but without knowing what sort of sleep problems then I wouldnt be able to say what would help and what wouldnt.
