T gel question

When my E2 went high it felt like my Testosterone was tanking. When I complained and my GP switched me to injections I was a little concerned about having to drive in for shots so... She had her nurse instruct me in how to do them at home. I feel better. I know this is more due to my E2 going down then a rise in my over all T because Androgel did ok in getting my levels in a healthy level.

One thing that bothered me was that I was doing bi-weekly shots and the last couple of days just seemed to DRAG... So, I spoke to my Doctor and she oked me doing the injections every 12 days. I think this is going to work great for me.

Are you happy with your change from gel to injections ?
I have thougt of changes back to injections I use testim 5 gram a day and 10 gram twice a week and my e2 was a bit high last time it was checked

I had some very high E2 results and my MD turned me over from Androgel to Injectable Test Cyp. The E2 came down. I "think" what you suggest is what happened to me. Androgel plus flab = E2

Ok I know you aint supposed to rub T gel on your chest cos it may cause gynecomastia due to the action of Aromatase. So how come we are told to rub it on the abdomen? The abdomen (mine at least!) has a bit of fat on it & guess where Aromatase also hides? Yep, in FAT!

I dont know why they say you can, I have heard that they have only run trials in the areas they mention, so they would of done 1 study, told everyone to use there arms and abdomen and left it at that. I would assume a lot of doctors know not to use the abdomen unless you got a bodyfat % in the single digits which not many people do.
