Glad people are posting about this. Boyce has never had his T levels checked. He has noticed weight gain and he seems to get worn out easily.

MY uro never mentioned T-tests at all.......when I asked about a pre-I/O T-test, he told me it would be a waste of time and he would check it if there was a problem post-I/O......he is kinda a dick and very full of himself. Should I mandate that I get one?

djm,
As part of my annual physical two weeks ago, my GP ordered a T test, which was done in the a.m. as she requested. She did emphasize that the normal ranges are very broad and may vary from lab to lab, so keep that in mind if you go ahead with it. Hope things are going well with you,

The best time is 8am, but anywhere between 7am and 10am would do.
If IGF-1 is included in the test, then no gym for 48 hours before the test. food shouldnt affect the test unless glucose is tested but I fast anyway for good measure.

When do you check T levels?
Hi Everyone,
Well, I'm still fairly strong in the gym, and my libido is as good as ever, but I'm still worried about low T. I have some weird fat accumulation, and my chest looks funny, but it could be because of my sporadic workouts. Also, I have some fatigue and muscle aches.
My uro gave me a script for a T-test a couple of months ago, and I haven't used it yet. I wanted to hit the gym some more before using it, but now I just want to do it. The question is, when is the best time for it? Is it first thing in the a.m.? or later in the day? Does diet affect it? Should I eat before the test?
Regards,
