The chemo seems to effect everyone differently, but I started feeling better a couple days after the second bleo shots, so by the end of the week you should be better. I'd still be tired, but wouldnt need to have a sleep in the afternoons. The session in week 3 was better, Id feel tired for that day maybe, but it never hit me too hard. I'd actually be back feeling pretty good at the end of week 3, just in time to go back for the next cycle!
Keep taking the antinaseau drugs aswell. My rule was to stay on them 3 days after my last cisplatin dose, and on the morning of the bleo shot in prep for it. Seemed to do the job for me.
Hope that helps,
Steve

hang tough - drink lots and lots of water. make sure they give you something like benadryl with the bleo if you can take it to prevent what I got every Tuesday for the first two bleo pushes - 10 hours of 103 degree fever and horrid chills and sweating.
and then drink more water. and sleep. and try to eat what you can handle.
we're all pulling for you.

LAST NIGHT I DREAMT 1000 LIES
I CAN SEE THE DAWN
THROUGH A DIFFERENT SET OF EYES
Hey Dan, my name is Justin. Just thought that I would ask how things are going. I started 3xBEP on the 20th. Kinda the same things that you went through. Feel like I am in a daze. But so far so good on the nausea front. Haven't puked yet. The only real problem that I had was from the Leukine, white blood booster, it made me hurt like I have never hurt in my life. I finish my first round tommorrow, and was wondering how round two is going for you. Hope it isn't to bad, also wondering if you have any of the side effects yet. I am one of the lucky ones and got the old ringing in the ears thing going on. It has about drove me insane, but will get through it. Let me know how your doing, and maybe we can cheer each other on through this crap.
