I currently had three cycles of EP done, and starting the fourth on monday. My doctor was going to only let me do three, but decided to "do it right." my BHCG after the second round was < 2 and AFP was normal. After the third cycle everything still was normal. I noticed some discomfort in my lower back. I'm worried that its growing back again. . .or is there scar tissue caused by the chemo??? Anyone else have back pains after chemo??

Bone pain during chemo is quite common so try not to focus on that too much. The chemo kills all to most of your marrow and as it grows back it can feel wierd and not something that most people ever experiance or can describe.Last edited by dadmo; 02-27-06, 07:44 AM.Son Jason diagnosed 4/30/04, stage III.
