I have three more days of EP - this is my final and fourth round says the doctor. My BHCG and AFP was already stablized "normal" only after the second round. I did months ago show two lymph nodes 1.2cm & 1.5cm in size. However, about a month and half later another cat scan was done showing the lymph nodes did not grow at all back in November - and this was not even treated with chemo. So do you think I have a good chance of being cured with this chemo or not?

Congratulations on finishing your chemo treatments. Yes you are most likely cured but that does not mean your at the end of the road. You should be scheduled for a scan soon and that will tell the condition of the lymph nodes. If the nodes are still enlarged the doctors may want to remove them just to make sure they contain no live cancer. That would be the infamous RPLND that you see discussed so often here. Speak with your oncologist about this because surviellance may also be an option that he leaves available to you. Either way you should have this beat.
Son Jason diagnosed 4/30/04, stage III. Right I/O 4/30/04. Graduated College 5/13/04. 4XEP 6/7/04 - 8/13/04. Full open RPLND 10/13/04. All Clear since.

Treated by Dr. Rakowski of Midland Park, NJ. Visited Sloan Kettering for protocol advice. RPLND done at Sloan Kettering.
