Stage III EC 85% + Sem 15%
AFP=2.6; HCG=10, 20,28 and rising
FULL CAT scan:
-abdominal lymph clear
-subpleural lungs metastasis [bipulmonary lesions with diam <= 1cm]
4 x BEP changed to 3 x BEP at my request

We all know that somewhere in future there will be some new drugs which will probablly kill just cancer cells not all cells. But I 'm afraid it will be some more time before such treatements will be declared like "standard" and before they will test it with all necesary phases. Medicine has it's own rules and years are neaded to make some drug or procedure like "safe".
I really hope they will spend more money for research because there is a solution for cancer out there.

I agree with you but imagine that 30 years ago thousends of young man died despite the cisplatin where discovered 1 or 2 years ago. I think in the cancer case, the standard steps MUST be shrinked very much. There is no time to wait and this drug is very very promising. What can be worse than standart cancer treatments ?
I hope we will never need it
