    I'm sorry Don.
But I'm focused on the barely traceable elevation and the change in laboratory facility. Those 2 things makes me full of hope that it's just a burp - or something like that...

Hang in there. When will you get more tests / info?

    Best wishes

I will find out tommorrow when I have to go for the Ultrasound and Blood testing... I think they want to wait until the end of the week for the blood test.... Dadmo--I really don't know how to react to that offer--I don't think anyone has ever made a greater show of generousity towards me in my entire life..I'm speechless..... I hope it doesn't come to that but your offer is definetly comforting.... You keep treating me like this and I'm going to drop the MO and just start calling you DAD ( seeing your old enough to be )... You guys are the best and I'm glad to be part of what we do here everyday!!!!!!!

        Don,

You've been through so much that my little 4xBEP seems like nothing.

Good luck tomorrow. I'm sure everyone in this forum will be thinking of you.

Be absolutely sure that the raising of hcg it's caused by TC relapse !!! I have very bad low back pain from 1 week and it's getting worse. My next checkpoint is on 20 this month. I understand how you feel because I'm in relatively the same situation. My great hope is the pain is caused by prolonged sitting on my office [I'm analyst programmer]. Like you, i'm afraid not about me, but my mom especialy. At this point I think it's better for me that I dont have kids. No way to live, no way to die. Sometime I'm feeling like an undead.
Back to your situation, I'm still bealiving there are no relapse. If there are nothing, you have to send me bottle of beer, to drink for you [just for kidney cleaning]

          All the best

                    Don..

Try to hang in there as you wait for the tests and the results this week. We're all with you in spirit. And with good, bad or indiffernet tests results this week you'll get the same support and love from your family, friends and us here.

You don't have to look far to see a great example of how to handle tough challenges. Look in the mirror....you've gotten this far by having incredible strength. Don't forget that!

Let us know how things go....

(Guinness, Tequila, Jager and more beer....Dadmo, you're a man after my own heart)

Don, since I read your post I have been trying to find a way to respond. I was stunned and upset but I am hopeful that the test result is just an anomaly. We have been sharing posts with your wife and now you for over a year and a bond has been created. As mentioned throughout this forum we become our own family, sharing and supporting and when necessary, praying. You know that the only thing you can do is take it a day at a time and go forward. You will do what you have to do and you will survive. Hang in there. Dianne

                              Don:

Sorry to hear about the HCG level. Hang in there. I had a scare about 2 years ago when a pulmonary nodule showed up on my chest CT. Six greuling weeks later when the CT was repeated, the nodule was smaller (it eventually dissappeared) and my doc has no idea what it was. I'm praying that your hcg is just a fluke and will be normal the next time its tested.

With thoughts, prayers, and best wishes,

                              Jim

Thanks for all the well wishes!!!!! I'm not going back to the doctor until friday afternoon to bloodmarkers drawn again.. They said they want to wait a week to see if their is any fluctuation in the counts, up or down, They said if the numbers are up then they want to do a another ultrasound, and a ct scan of the brain to rule out anything there.. So I guess I will have to play the waiting game!!!!!
