    Derek12,
Sloan has a Phase II Study of BMS-247550 in Advanced Germ Cell Tumor Patients
    [Protocol 03-041]

Try to google or pubmed search on BMS-247550 and you'll find tons...you had the incorrect number....Good luck to your buddy!

Search our database of clinical trials at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center that are currently enrolling new participants.

Sorry to throw a url your way and run! Poked around the searches I did and BMS-247550 is in phase II trials at a few cancer centers now. It was tried in advanced colorectal cancer with no success and has been studied in a number of hormone refractory prostate cancer trials. Trials underway on breast and renal cancers as well. Looks like the phase II for tc havn't published yet from what I see. Motzer (the investigator for this trial at Sloan) should (and willas part of the patient consent) outline any toxicities that were seen in the Phase I study (on normal, helathy males).
