Hi everyone, been awhile since i wrote. My son Allen is having a RPLND next week. I really dont understand all of this. I am leaving for Ca this week end to be with him and we have a appointment with his doctor on Monday so I can find out everything and ask some questions. I do know that the bleo really messed up his lungs, and I want to know how this will effect his surgery. Will let everyone know how it all turns out when I get back home, at least ten days from now.

Hi Mary Ellen!
I'm glad to hear that Chris got through it alright!
I know that they'll want him to start walking right away so you might want to make sure that he has something between his tummy and his pant line. I didn't think of it nor did anyone tell me and now my surgery scar is very wide there becasue of it tearing open more and ore when I walked up and down the stairs.
It doesnt bother me at all, in fact I think of it as as something I earned but for others it may be different.
