HCG levels

Does anyboby get the actual values for HCG or is it always given as less than 2 IU. I read than anything over 0 is considered abnormal and was curious?

Hi Danebert.

I don't think so. iu/l is a rather small unit, so normally <2 would equal 0.
Not as with kiu/l (AFP), there is room for decimals.

Thanks for the reply. THe only reason I ask is my levels have always been reported the same way, which is less than 2 IU. THis time it was .5 IU. I didn;t know there was a test that sensitive, but I did get it done at Indiana so that could be one of the reasons.
