  • At last RPLND

Well it is finally time for the RPLND. This Wednesday with Dr. Scheinfeld at Sloan. I can't believe I''ve been wanting this to happen. After this we have to have tumors removed from the chest but this is a start. Alex is in good spirits.

    Wish us luck.

      Domenic:
This will be in the past soon. The operation is tough but not as bad as the scar would lead you to think. When you get settled at Sloan let me know your room number. It would like to pay you a visit.

I just wanted everyone to know that Dominic's son Alex had a successful RPLND. He's doing plenty of walking and the doctors are very pleased with his progress.

We met Alex today. He was having a bit of a tough day but his spirits were good. Unfortunately he did lose a kidney during the surgery. His next step is to get the lung spots taken care of. Domenic and Kim are making believe there fine (same as the rest of us did) but now the end of treatment is in sight and they expect Alex to be back at school for the fall semester.

Note to Chris’Mom: We went to that little Mexican place across the street, and had a very nice time. It’s like we have known them for years.

Dadmo, I know this thread is about Domenic and my thoughts are with him but I wanted to tell you that my parents live in Philly and next time I come home for a few I am coming to Jersey to meet you and your wife. Maybe we can truck it to Sloan and see some other survivors. Apache
