Alex came home today and is doing great!!! Dr. Scheinfeld (a God in my eyes) is very pleased with his progress. He told us on Monday that his HCG was 0. We are waiting for the Pathology report, maybe in the next two days but all indications are very good.

It was great meeting Bill and Nancy and having a very nice lunch. That was Alex's worst day but by Sunday he was in good spirits and feeling much better.

We meet with the lung surgeon in two weeks and hope to get that done as soon as possible.

Of everything he went through the biggest complaint Alex has is the 5g diet, he wants a big juicy hamburger!

The Pathology Report came back today, everything came back negative! We meet with the lung surgeon in two weeks, if we can get that done next month Alex is off to school in August. What an emotional day that will be.

That is wonderful news. This will all be behind you soon.

Isn't it funny how "negative" is the most
            postive word we can hear?

Domenic, what great news.....when you said you want Alex back to school in August...it made me think of Chris last summer...he had his RPLND with wonderful Dr. Sheinfeld on July 22 and made it back to his Junior Year in College by August 17!!!! Well the next phase on Wednesday. Alex is having the first of two operations at Sloan to take the tumors out of the lungs, Dr. Baines says there are 12. We thought there were only four.

His HCG is still 0 and he has recovered from the RPLND much faster than they thought. It will only be four weeks between operations.

                    The end is near.
