SF-Bay Area Oncologists

Hi,

After the ultrasound found two-tumours on his right testes, my husband is having his operation to have it removed on tomorrow. I would be grateful for some reccommendations of oncologists to get a second opinion from, once we get back his pathology results and blood tests. We are based in San Jose in the Bay area,

We tried ringing up Peter Caroll's office who is recommended on various sites, but they said not only was he not seeing people till November, but that he wouldn't see people unless they had been treated initially at UCSF. So other recommendations would be appreciated!

Unfortunately, I don't have much advice on which oncologist to choose. But I would suggest you post the same question on TC-NET. Especially Doug Bank, the president of TCRC, will probably be able to suggest someone.

I wish the best for you and your husband for tomorrow's operation.. I'm sure he'll be up and around in no time.
