I had orchiectomy to my right testicle 2 months ago. I asked for being treated using Carboplatin but they told me they don't do that because it's not recomended in the Testicular Cancer Guidelines... I'm still waiting for them to call me to do Radiotherapy. Is wating for 2 months to start radiotherapy on the guidelines? Is this normal?!! Thx!

My oncologist told me that I had about 6-8 weeks to decide if I wanted radiation. After that, I would be on surveillence by default. So based on this, you're about at the end of the range, of course different doctors might have different opinions. When are you scheduled for CT/X-ray/blood work again?Fish
