From a fellow surveiller, congrats! My wife always gives me the evil eye when I come out from a CT scan. Why....well, one time I was walked out of the CT room by a female technician, who was admittedly cute. My wife thought she was flirting with me, but let me off easy based on where I just came from. She now thinks all CT Techs, behind those closed doors, are cute and flirting with me. One can wish, right?

          All the best.

I find they only give me bad-tasting drinks and stick me with needles.

Sort of happy dance My CT was NEG but my cousin got bad news today her cancer has returned for the 3rd or 4th time, she is only 24ish been in the fight since I want to say age 17. She is on her way to the cancer center right now sounds like they don't know what family the cancer belongs to which can't be a good thing. She is to get married in a couple months what bummer.

Forgot to post Blood work is clear and CT is clear Happy
Cousin not so lucky she has some type of recurrent breast cancer, hormone reactive and the drugs they had he on made it worse sounds like a uphill battle for her chemo again and more surgery I am sure to remove ovaries 24 years old and getting married in 2 months and no kids yet. She is a little down in the dumps. But they hope to try a new drug to put it back in remission. Makes me feel lucky so far.

                      Brian,

Congrats on the all clear and wishes for more of the same!!!! I have a patented "happy-happy-joy dance" I will do for you (and it ain't pretty!!!! )

I'm very sorry about your cousin. Breast cancer is another sucky disease, especially someone so young. TC is scarey, no doubt about it, and any percent of recurrence of any cancer is disturbing. Women have a >12% chance of being diagnosed with breast cancer during their lives and the cure rate is still not high enough. I suspect you are able to help your cousin with the emotional part of this. Never lose hope.
