    Hi All;

    Hope you are having a good summer !

    Speaking of which,I've noticed that after having enjoyed some nice days basking in the summer sunshine,my previously "light" bleo "tiger-stripes",are now VERY prominent. Especially on my shoulders and back. My fiance tells me I look like I was whipped !

    Best Wishes

      I have those things too!! They haven't gone away after 5 years and often I am asked if I was whipped in a couple of spots on my legs and abs. What color are yours-- mine are a dark purplish/gray color and are only about 4 or 5 inches long by about 1/4 inch thick-- if I can get a picture in I will--I been having a hard time with the size or something?!? Mikey, where in Maui do you go I saw your pics (from the sunset I am guessing it is the west side--??) I have a buddy that owns a coffee/sandwich shop in Kihei (40 min south of Lahaina)-- if you ever get there let me know in advance and I'll make sure he hooks you up-- on me!! Ahh, Maui, where I got engaged, plan on getting married and living for the rest of my life.....Paradise.

        Hey Joe,

        The stripes on my lower back sounds pretty much the same as what you described. I also have some blotches on the inside of both forearms,as well as stripes/blotches on both of my shoulders !

        Very observant on the Maui pics...we stay in a condo on the west side in Kihei. As a matter of fact, going for 3 weeks this Feb/March,and getting married on Makena beach !

          Hey Mikey - Joe's Mom here: I've heard them referred to as "chemo burns". Does anyone know what they really are?

            Much RESPECT on the wedding plans, bro-- I couldn't think of a better place to get hitched. Please make sure you drop me a line before you go so I can get you a couple cups of coffee and some smoothies or something at my friends shop. It is in the strip-mall in Kihei with the Denny's and the exotic car rental place, -- maybe you know the area (the beach Cam II across the street)?? By the way, we stayed at the Kihei Akahi-- Where do you stay?? -- Joe

                  Well, I asked for it!! I had thought it was just a few small stipes but wow, was I wrong. It's strange that they don't fade over time...
