  • Bloodwork: all OK

    Hello,

So, I am a fuss-pot in the end.

I had my blood tested in Panama. Everything is absolutely normal, AFP etc.
I will still need to see a urilogist when I get back for the pain, and will still need to do the "real" blood work and CT scan back home in one month (if my oncologist discovers that I had my AFP done, he'll kill me :-D ) But, things are looking bright.

The weight loss, I was explained, is quite normal for silly westeners going to third world countries. It's a mixture of eating different things, catching viruses, drinking not-quite-clean water, etc. that can put a strain on our system. I haven't lost any more weight - in fact, it's quite stable now.

So... thank you all. Merc is OK after all, happily blogging away ( http://www.mobily.com )

    Bye!

    Merc.
