Hi all!
I finished today my first check ups of my surveillance protol.
All clear.
There is one thing which makes me concerned.
Among the tumor markers performed, there was one calle CEA (which I haven't understtod what is) which seems to be "almost normal".
My results say:
CEA: 3.5
The reference intervals are: 3.4 for non smokers and 5 for smokers. I am a moderate smoker!
My oncologist says this value has not a suignificance now, but she wants that I perform the marker in 1 or 2 months time.
ANybody knows anything about this tumor marker?
thanks
