  • One Year Checkup

It's been one year since chemo ended and I had my regular checkup today. Tumor markers all good, CXR negative. My oncologist stretched my appointments from every two months to every three.

As he turned to leave, my oncologist said, "You're cancer-free." That's the best thing I've heard in about 25 years.

With this message, I'm going to quit boring you folks with my mundane checkups, even though they're rather enjoyable to write about. I'll be lurking around from time to time in the event that my perspective or experience might be helpful. Best wishes to all.
