Well it seems these threads are all the craze this month so here we go.
Was given 3 cups of a clear almost tasteless sweet liquid when I finished them I was moved into a room with 2 very old people who looked like they were dying, the room smelled like **** literally, someone must of had an accidant, one lady was moaning really weirdly, I stood up and left the room back into the original waiting room, they called me back to put in my catheter, the nurse is like
her: "lol where are you going"
me: "it stinks in here"
her: "yea its a hospital"
me: "no it smells like a toilet"
afterwards I asked to leave, ended up waiting 1 hour and 45 mins all up from when I got to the hospital.
Went in for my scan, I noticed just before they put in the iodine drip into the catheter it had big air bubbles in it(this gives you a stroke or heart attack), I said "is it ok to have air bubbles" the guy goes yea its only small, looks again and realises how much air is in there, and drains it. (God is calling me I swear)
I feel a flush in my arms, then pelvis(never happened before) Then testicle! (This warm flush wasnt as bad as the old CT iodine)
I look up at the iodine syringe and its all been injected. 10 seconds later I am told its all done, it lasted less then a minute
It was the new digital CT scanner, they told me it did like 67 slices.
I get to pick up the results myself tommorow.
The only downside to the new ct scan is... well lets just say the 3 cups of liquid comes out the wrong way south moreso then that disgusting white stuff on the older CT scans.
As usual for some reason I am very relaxed after the iodine drip, must have some positive effect on brain chemicals possibly through thyroid function.
