I sent Dr Jewett an e-mail (from Dadmo's "expert list" ),and he was kind enough to respond. Don't be shy when it comes to seeking help from the best !

    Best Wishes

With all the trouble you're having I would contact a Canadian expert in tc, here's the list .

I'm goining to have to do some research but I don't know of that being any worse then any other form of tc. What was his origional diagnosis? Was it extragonadal?

Embryonal Carcinoma & Yolk Sac Tumors

Would just like to know if 90% Yolk Sac and 10% Embryonal Carcinoma tumors together are considered aggressive and hard to get rid of even with 2 rounds of high dose chemo?
Neal has been through 4XBEP and 4X TIP since july and is now doing 2 rounds of HDC with Stem Cell Transplant.
I am just asking this because my brothers Dr said that he would of never expected Neal to have to recieve High Dose Chemo, and now Neal is going onto his second round of High Dose tomorrow.
I have read in some places yes it is and some places not so much.
Any advice please. I think that Dr's here in Canada need a kick in the ***.
Working...
