at first I thought I would be inpatient, but I dont have to be there 24/7, only during IV (4-6 hrs a day)

I did EP today, tomorrow they add below (BEP), then again EP, EP, EP (5 days total) and the folloing week one shot of bleo by itself, then the following week another shot of just bleo (1 day only).

That's my 1st cycle. Week 4 repeats the same thing, and week 7 as well.

Sound about right to anyone? I understand that they may vary some details depending on the markup of tumor, stage, risk assessment etc.

Sounds about right, although in my case the first week was BEP, EP, EP, EP, EP. Weeks two and three are pretty easy, as the bleo push only takes about 20-30 minutes total.

The physical effect on you is cumulative. Typically you will feel worst after the first week of a cycle, then get to feeling better in week 2, almost back to normal in week 3, then you get hit with the next cycle.

Wait and see - if you're feeling OK after the end of the week you should be fine in week 2 and 3 provided you don't have any bad bleo reactions (Tylenol is your friend). If you're getting neupogen or neulasta that may make your bones ache but no bad effects other than that.

Keep up with your antiemetics and nexium (or something similar)!

i was feeling really really bad after the first five days (threw up, couldn't sleep...terrible time).
before my second round (two weeks after) i asked the doctor to give me some more anti-nausea drugs. he gave me some injections to do in the case i was suffering too much. and they worked! one every 4 hours i believe... so II and III round (only did three) went veeeery easy.
my suggestion: don't believe that beacuse you are having chemo you MUST feel sick. ask your doctor, maybe (as in my case) he can give you something that really works!
