Love the story Booby Buddy Club Well it's a good day today. My brother and I met with his oncologist to view the cat scan from Wed. and the Dr. said it was all clear. My god I wanted to jump up and down, my bro on the other hand didn't change his poker face, he just said to the Dr, 'Isn't it too soon for anything to show up anyways since I just had the surgery." So the Dr. said, it's a good sign it's clear, is there a chance that there is still more cancer that can only be picked up with a microscope, yes and that's the reason for more chemo which starts on Mon. And his Dr. said he consulted with someone at Indiana and also his urologist and they almost leaned towards surveillance, but in the end this is the route to end it once and for all. So mind you he's not looking forward to an entire day, everyday there, but it hopefully will be worth it. So I am a happy girl today

Quick question for anyone who knows. i am reading my brothers latest cat scan report, and as i said the Dr. stated all was clear, but under the impression #3 states 1.5 right inguinal lymph node. Is that because of resent RPLND on Dec. 11th or does that indicate cancer. I know should ask the Dr. , don't worry , it's still a good day for me, just wondering why the Dr. didn't mention it.

          Savin16:
You really need to question the doctor on that but my guess is that it a simple inflamation from the surgery. They should have removed any nodes that looked suspect and done pathology reports on those ,if they were clear it's unlikly that this is cancer.

Dadmo, 29 lymph nodes were removed with 2 showing cancer, but again why would the Dr. say scan clear, you know it's ok regardless, this VIP chemo is gonna do it, it has too. So again today I am very happy and nothing but positive thoughts, that's until next week when I start complaining to you how this chemo is wrecking him and how I can't stand sitting there watching. And I fall apart again.

I also choose B. At this point the road isn't long or winding it's a short clear path.
