Back by popular demand...no, not really. Some kind readers asked me to keep everyone informed, so here goes.
Got the latest blood work:
AFP = 1.2
Beta-HCG < 1
CXR Negative
I can get used to this, boring as it seems. A few observations:
--By this time, the X-ray techs are part of my support group/cheering section. I know all of them and my X-ray sessions are actually sort of entertaining.
--A friend of mine was diagnosed with Stage III non-Hodgkins lymphoma about the same time of my diagnosis. He's now doing great. He and I were talking the other day, and we concluded that if you're going to have cancer, it's nice to have a type that responds to chemo.
Will keep in touch. Next appt. is at the 18-month mark.
