    Mark,

My heart bottomed out as I read your post, had to do a quick switch from horror to happily recovering from shock in the few seconds it took to read the rest of the post..
    Whew! Thank God its ok.

By now you are probably in la la land. Cheers!

    Gigantic Hugs
    Tammy

Dude... you don't understand how stressed out you made me reading through your post. I'm already buzzed from Ped Onc beer hour (yah, that sounds bad, but bear with me). Suffice it to say, I'm relieved that righty is still mighty. I just wish I could be there so I could at least be buzzed in good company. I'm really looking forward to seeing you and the fam on Dec 15.

    O Brother Where Art Thou?

"I've seen trouble all my days" - Soggy Bottom Boys. I love that song. Didn't know I was a Bluegrass fan too, did you? The "Titile"? , one of my favorite movies. The "Answer?" all here, Sisters too. I just bought the soundtrack before my Onc visit. I swear someone is messing with me. The "good news" the CT was all clear. The "bad news", the PET wasn't. And to add to the fun, the activity was in my last buddy. Every guy's dream, for their buddies to get some activity. Not this time! After they scraped me off the floor, they ordered an Ultra Sound.....for....tomorrow.....Are you F*&^%$ng nuts?!?!? I wan't it NOW! Thank you Brandy (you're a fine girl) and a great nurse too, got me in. All Right is still alright. Might be some irritation from the installed left jellybean, but Righty is still alrighty. I'm apologizing in advance if I don't make sense later (or even now). I'm going to be S*&t-Fa%&d drunk. Believe it or not, all I could think about after being told it was OK after all, was to get home and cry on some Cyber-Shoulders. Thanks Guys!!!!!!!!!!
    Much Love,
    Plain ol' stressed out me

    Designs

Scars are just a map of where we've travelled. Tattoes to me, represent a point in time we wish to remember. A piece of ourselves we choose to share. Lessons, triumphs, even future goals. I am illustrated already, but never chose lightly. I can tell you what each piece means. I invite my Family to share this with me. All are Warriors here. All are united not just because of what we've overcome, but who we are and what we mean to each other. Many of you would have never dreamed of doing this in the past. It seems like now the time just seems right and so it must be. When someone sees your "point in time", you'll be able to tell your story, maybe even our story. Don't forget to tell them why. Until there's no more Cancer.

My e-mail is [email protected]. Send me what you'd like as a design and I'll send it along to Phyllis, my friend, a Survivor in her own right. Seminoma is not to easy to kill? Neither is the Human Spirit!

Spoke to the Lovely Lady responsible for the designs on my skin tonight. I'd love to have the next shindig here, and she's ready to join us with her equipment. She's completely professional, gifted and her equipment quite sterile. If we can figure on a "when", I'll provide the where and how. What do you think? A " Cancer didn't win and you can see it on my skin" party. Yeah, I know I'm that one in the Family, but my love is true so let's get lewd, stewd, and tattooed! Actually we'll need to be a little mellow. She won't work if we're too tipsy. The ink runs out. She IS professional.
    Love you Guys, Mark

    Ain’t Life a Funny Ride?
It can slam you side to side
Can make your bones shake and rattle
So please be careful on the saddle
Cause the life you once knew
    May be departed from you

Still the key here is to adjust
But only as much as you must
It ain’t the cough that carries you off
It’s the coffin they carry you off in
So please don’t be afraid to laugh
    It’s wisdom’s truest path

And I can still look around me
I’ve never been a trend setter
It’s bad, but I think it’ll get better
And I can still smell the roses
All the flowers still look pretty
Even when the orchids get sh*tty

And for those who’ve gone before us
A tear goodbye in mournful chorus
    With just a moments reflection
    To genuflect life’s inspection
So please don’t be afraid to cry
Just don’t waste you time asking why

And I’m still looking around me
    Don’t recall ever being first
But it can’t get no worse (can it?)
And I can still place the roses
And though the thorns hurt my fingers
    These memories still linger

    Ain’t Life a Funny Ride?
It can slam you side to side
But don’t let your demons confine you
While there are those who’ll remind you
That the life you've yet to live
Still has alot yet to give

Don't worry, I won't quit my day job.

I had already signed up for it, so y'all know I'm game. I'm seeing my Japanese teacher in the next couple of weeks, and I'll have her trace the kanji Mark has recommended .

I have two new inkings I want. Jason's name on my back (I got your back pop's) and Nancy's name on my side (she has always been on my side). Just let me know when and I'm in.

I was thinking "livestrong" centered on my lower back. That way in case my bracelet breaks....they can bury me with Livestrong somewhere on me.

Never have I met a better representation of Indomitable Spirit as my Family here. Enough of the mushy stuff albeit sincere, "Let's get Inked!"
