My brother had a cat scan done 1/17/2007, When we went back a couple days after to go over the results with the Dr. he said ,"all clear" But he is still to have the 2xVIP that started 1/22/07 I was unable to go with my brother to his usual Mon. check up today, but I keep all his scans with me, so he gave me the results from the 17th, under the impression everything says normal, some fluid build up from the RPLND but #3 say 1.5cm right inguinal lymph node. Now this isn't on any other scan reports, is this a new tumor that is showing somehow after his initial 4xBEP and RPLND or is this something left over from surgery which was done Dec. 11th 2006? I also will question the Dr. this Fri when I go back with my brother. Thanks

Hi Robert,
29 nodes were removed with 2 being active, and that is why they said more chemo was needed. It was on the right side. All states clear or normal . Retroperitoneum : numerous surg. clips from bilateral dissection are demonstrated. All enlarged paraaortic and paracaval lymph nodes identified on previos exam have been surgically removed. Evidence of 7.4 x 7.2 cm ld collection in the mesentery just anterior to the L4-L5 level this fluid is most likely represents seroma.
Adenopathy: 1.5cm right inguinal lymph node. This is all foreign to me, I will ask the Dr. on Fri. but if you have any clue, fill me in. ThanksKrista
