My brother Neals battle with TC finally ended on Monday Feb 5/07. He fought a brave fight right up until the very end.
I just cant believe how this happened and so fast. I am still in a great deal of denial that he is gone.
All I know is that if someone gets TC in Canada they should make a trip straight to the USA to get treated otherwise the Dr's here have no clue and they dont care.
Neals Dr is up for charges for what kind of malpractice he did to Neal. Of course it wont bring him back but it will stop the Dr from doing it to another patient.
    He is very sadly missed.

I am really sorry for you .
I am in quebec and had good treatment but i know that sometime you can fall on a bad doctor. I think i have been prescribed too much scan for my condition and canadian doctors don't like when we tell them what to do with the protocol shown in TCRC page.

Kim, I think we were all hoping for a miracle. I am very sad you lost Neal. I lost a brother. He took piece of my heart with him. Sometimes I think people underestimate the bond between siblings. It is powerful. It is going to take awhile before you find peace. But at some point it will come. Dianne

I'm very sorry, and it's hard to believe that the end came so quickly. I had been following Neal's progress through your posts, and I was really hoping he would beat this. It's now time to grieve, and I really hope that you have a strong support system in place. We will always be here for you as well, and even though we're just letters on a screen, behind the keyboards we are real people sharing your pain in the loss of your brother. So lean on us anytime.
