Dark circles around eyes

It can be from stress, cortisol goes up and starts messing with chemical reactions in the body lowering WBC(wich the chemo does a lot better), but dark circles without lack or sleep are usually from elevated liver enzymes wich could be caused from stress. Zinc is good at lowering cortisol, so he could try that taken in the morning with vitamin b6.

Thanks Robert
I am hoping it is exhaustion and that they will go away soon.
It isn't the normal darkness that people get when exhausted, that occurs under the eye, this kind of surronds both of his eyes.
But yes, he is exhausted and looks it too.

Dark circles around eyes
I was just wondering if anyone else has had dark circles under/around their eyes.
My husband has never had dark circles under his eyes even when compleatly lacking sleep.
But about a month after his TC diagnosis I noticed the skin around his eyes was very dark.
So now that we started chemo I keep waiting for those dark circles to go away, because I am assuming it is one of those effects from his cancer.
Only problem is any time you look up about cancer and dark eye circles you either get an article about eye cancer or advance cancer.
Has anyone else had the dark circles and if so, when did they subside?
Thanks
